Hailing from WA, Trish made the trek from the west in 2000 after enjoying incredible success in real estate sales and property management over a five year period. Looking to continue and develop her property career, she started out in the Melbourne scene as a contractor through Real Estate Career Developers (RECD). Whilst getting to know her new home, Trish established herself in the Melbourne market and gained unique insight to the inner workings of the best real estate agencies in the state. Her strong work ethic and aptitude evident from some incredible employer feedback, founder Melissa Karatjas saw an opportunity to during a busy time at RECD to bring Trish on board. Thrilled at this new and exciting opportunity to utilise her real estate experience, Trish jumped at the chance to work in recruitment.
With a fantastic skill set and the right attitude for recruitment, Trish fit in perfectly and become one of the founding members of RECD staff, now enjoying a role as General Manager 14 years later. It’s this attitude and approach to developing careers that has made her a strong favourite with clients and candidates.

Aside from people consultancy, Trish specialises in talent management, temporary and permanent placements, identifying business human resource needs, maximising position efficiency, and induction and retention plans to improve company and profits.
In her personal time Trish is an amateur chef of the highest calibre (cooking being something she describes as ‘relaxing’) and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
