Melbourne born and bred, Kirsten has long had a passion for working with people. After getting her start at Maxxia where she completed a Certificate IV in Business, she secured a permanent role at Rusher Rogers after taking up a temp role on their reception. She quickly moved into Recruitment Support and Consultancy managing the appointment of temporary staff to the firms various clients. Since then she has attained a Certificate IV in Human Resources which has assisted taking her recruitment support to another level.
In 2014 she made the step to Real Estate Career Developers (RECD) taking on a multifaceted role including advertising, social media, database management and is the all important face of the business. She loves meeting new people every day and making the puzzle come together as one – placing the right people with the right companies and employers.
Kirsten finds the fast paced nature of the work at RECD the most exciting aspect, and that no two days are ever the same. ‘You can go from having someone call in sick for a temp assignment to placing three people in their new roles in just a few hours’. The rewards of recruitment work for Kirsten are clear.
Outside of recruitment Kirsten loves nothing more than spending time with her chocolate Labrador Banjo. She is passionate about animal welfare, disaster and humanitarian relief, actively supporting the Helping Hand Helping Hearts foundation. She also dabbles in the performing arts, and stays fit hiking on weekends.
