Melissa
Known for her passion, honesty and infectious enthusiasm, Melissa Karatjas started RECD in 2001 with a desire to bring quality recruitment within reach of Real Estate Agencies all over Melbourne. Prior to starting the business, she acquired an impressive 12 years of Real Estate experience in a variety of roles in sales and property management in both Melbourne and London. Starting from small beginnings, Melissa started her business in a small office with a home computer, yellow pages and telephone. These days she has a more sophisticated office and team to support her, and her determination and passion have seen clients all over Melbourne choose RECD as the number one Real Estate Recruitment Agency.

Trish
When Trish Payne moved from Perth with her husband in 2000, she brought with her 5 years of event co-ordination and prior to that, 5 years of strong experience in both sales and property management. She went for an interview with a prominent Melbourne Real Estate recruitment agency and was told her skills were so out of date that it would be hard to assist in even getting a reception job. She went to see Melissa that afternoon and left with a job starting the next day. Trish temped in reception, property management & secretarial for several months and then went into RECD's offices to help Melissa.It was then that the two combined their experience together and worked collaboratively as RECD.
"My philosophy is that you can work on a candidate's skills, as long as they have a good attitude" says Trish "You may find that someone with ten years experience may have the knowledge, but an outlook that won't work in a lot of businesses. Jenny
With an impressive 25 years of Real Estate experience in Trust Accounting and Administration, Jenny brings a warm and experienced approach to Real Estate Career Developers. Starting off initially as a temp, Jenny was soon made permanent and has now been there for 2 years. Jenny enjoys working in a small, vibrant office, in the ever changing world of real estate recruitment.
She enjoys the fast pace, and the fact that she gets to use her strong passion in assisting entry-level candidates obtain the right role in order to advance their careers.

Charmaine
Originally from South Australia, Charmaine is a fully licensed Estate Agent with 19 years real estate experience. Her background is specialised in the areas of body corporate and residential property management. Her skills along with a Diploma in Business Accounting means that Charmaine provides both industry and accounting knowledge to the RECD team. "I love working in a fast paced environment, and in this office there is lots of variety in my role" Charmaine says. "Working at RECD has been the perfect step for me in my career, and I enjoy the constant people contact along with the opportunity I have in order to use my skills." Charmaine is patient, loyal and results driven, and is already a favourite with all that have dealings with her.
Elizabeth Noden
We are delighted to announce that Elizabeth Noden has recently joined our team at RECD to further enhance our already high profile in our specialised field of real estate related placements. Elizabeth has had extensive experience over the years in all areas of Real Estate, predominantly in the Property Management field, as well as establishing and running her own refurbishment business over the past 8 years.
